Abby + Josh | Carp River Gardens Wedding
Long time friends and high school sweethearts, it was as if Abby and Josh were destined to be. For seven years they strengthened a relationship and grew deeply in love, leading them to this day; saying vows in front of all their cherished family and friends, and becoming their own family for the rest of their lives.
We had the honor of taking two separate engagement sessions with Abby and Josh over 2 years, so to say we were highly anticipating this day is an understatement! And of course they planned the most stunning of weddings that made us “oo” and “aww” throughout it all.
Abby and Josh chose to say their I Do’s at the breathtaking Carp River Garden, and celebrated the night away at The Great Lakes Room inside of Northern Michigan University. Portraits were important to the couple, so they gave us lots of extra time to create images of them (the dream!)! This day was picture perfect from start to finish, we couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to photograph each moment – thank you A&J!
Upon arriving to the gardens, Abby shared a first look with her father.
The men had some extra downtime, so Josh made sure to get a warm-up in for the song he was going to surprise Abby with during their ceremony.
With their wedding being held on the weekend of the Fourth of July, it seemed only right to end Abby & Josh’s day with a few patriotic images 😉
