Downtown Marquette Wedding | Hanna + Mike
Hanna and Mike met and fell in love while both attending Michigan Tech University in the (extremely) snowy town of Houghton, Michigan. In fact, it was during winter, Valentines Day to be exact, when Mike got down on one knee amidst a winter walk with Hanna and asked her to be his wife. With a kiss and an excitable yelp from their pup Archer (or so we like to imagine), Hanna said YES!
Hanna and Mike chose to wed in Hanna’s hometown, saying vows at St Paul’s Episcopal Church and then walking with friends in toe to their reception at the Marquette Regional History Center. The day was kissed with a light summer rain, perfectly pausing when we went outside to take pictures, and magically resuming with rain once tucked away indoors… as if it were beautifully orchestrated by the wedding itself!
Hanna got ready at the Landmark Inn, thoroughly enjoying the bouncy bed and spectacular bathroom in her suite. 😉
Just before their First Look, the rain began to fall, so Hanna and Mike tucked inside the front porch of Hanna’s parents for a magical rainy moment.
