Dezirae + Eric | Felicita Park Engagement
Dezirae hurried around the house of Eric’s parents, preparing refreshments and food, moving furniture, and getting everything set for Eric’s birthday party. Friends were set to arrive any minute, and soon everyone would be enjoying themselves and celebrating. What Dezirae didn’t know, is soon they would be celebrating her, too.
With everyone hanging out on the back porch under the night sky and glowing deck lights, Eric cleared his throat to gain everyone’s attention. He asked to say a few words, and specifically asked if Dezirae could come closer. She bent her head to the side and gave him a curious smile, and soon phones were being taken out of back pockets to record the moment. Before Dezirae could gather in her mind what was happening, Eric got down on one knee, and asked her “Will you marry me?”
Dezirae and Eric chose the most stunning park in Escondido California for their engagement session. It was the very park that Eric grew up hanging out at, and as we walked around taking pictures he recounted some of his fond (and hysterical) memories of the area. The evening was perfectly warm, in classic California fashion, and music and laughter from others enjoying the park swirled in with the birds and whistling trees.
